Two free events will help visitors enjoy the Reserve during the week-end.

Playful activities for children in the wood La Golena.  On Saturday afternoon families with children from 4 to 10 years old can play and take part in a short guided walk in the wood La Golena thanks to the programme of “Furlo Family”. Meet at 4.45pm at the nature reserve visitor centre in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36.

Guided archaeological walk.  On Sunday morning a guided archaeological walk will led visitors discover the great Roman remains along the Gola del Furlo. Meet at 9.30am at the visitor centre in the village of Furlo di Acqualagna, via Flaminia n.36. Visitors will admire the two Roman tunnels and other imprints of the Roman past along the Via Flaminia, the grand road built by the consul Caio Flaminio in the III century B.C. to connect Rome to Rimini passing through the Gola del Furlo. The route of the walk will be flat and accessible to everybody.
